ETC Onboard Unit Purchase Subsidy 2026 (West Japan)

Get up to ¥10,000 off the combined cost of a new ETC or ETC2.0 onboard unit, its setup, and installation at a participating store.

Apply at the store (web form)

At the store, complete the web application form provided for the campaign. Staff can assist if needed.

Step 3
Purchase, setup & install

Buy your ETC/ETC2.0 unit and complete setup/installation at the store. The subsidy (up to ¥10,000) is discounted at checkout.

Who qualifies?
  • New installation of an ETC or ETC2.0 unit (not a replacement).
  • New motorcycles: eligible when purchasing a new bike and installing the unit at that time.
  • New security standard compliant units only (future security changes supported).
  • 4-wheel brand-new vehicles: installations at new-car purchase time are not eligible. The vehicle must be at least 4 months past its first registration to qualify.
  • Participating store only: purchase, setup, and installation must be done at a campaign store.
  • Before purchase: applications made after buying/setting up/installing are not eligible.
  • No double-dipping: vehicles that already received any ETC onboard unit subsidy in the past are excluded.
What’s covered & important notes
  • Subsidy amount: up to ¥10,000 per vehicle applied as a discount toward unit price, setup, and installation.
  • When it ends: the program closes when the 50,000-unit cap is reached, even if before Nov 28.
  • Application channel: the campaign web form is provided at the store (not a public form you can fill in advance).

Can I replace my existing unit and get the subsidy?
No. Replacements are excluded. The subsidy is for new installations only.

Are new motorcycles eligible?
Yes—when the ETC unit purchase, setup, and installation are done with the new motorcycle purchase.

Are brand-new 4-wheel cars eligible at purchase time?
No. For cars, the vehicle must be at least 4 months after first registration to qualify.

Where do I apply?
At a participating store, using the campaign web form provided there. Staff can help if needed.

Can I apply after I already installed the unit?
No. You must apply as part of the purchase/setup/installation process at the participating store.
